Party Party
December 22: Cookie decorating and exchange party with friends on the Island in the afternoon and neighbourhood caroling party in the evening. Lots of people to hold my brother and lots of fun for me at both parties!

Some things I've been doing in school
Yesterday was the last day of school this year. Here are some things I've done at school recently:
- Re-enacted the book Gingerbread Boy. Our class made a giant gingerbread boy and when our teacher went to take him out of the oven, he escaped! We looked for him all over the school and found him in our classroom where we gobbled him up.
-Delivered cookies to Island seniors
- Listened to and sang wintery songs at Winterfest with Mama and made a craft with her. I wish parents were invited to school more often.
- Attended the big girls' choir practice at lunch because I don't like going outside after lunch.
- Got chosen for "14" on the class advent calendar and got an envelope of goodies.

I never want to go to a movie theatre again
On Sunday I went to a movie theatre with Gillie. It was a bit too scary. I didn't want to stay so Gillie took me out. Gillie peeked in and it was our movie The Fantastic Mr. Fox. We asked a man to get our stuff. We went home on the subway and bus. And when we got home Gillie read me books which were The Witches and Matilda. I ate lots of gum today and Gillie took me home but I wasn't so happy that I did because I wanted to stay with Gillie.
